( The story behind the headlines ) Bombarded with images of violence in the Middle East, many have given up hope of finding an end to the conflicts that grip the region, these images do not tell the whole story. Beyond the violent images of the middle east that saturate the media, some Israelis and Palestinians have come together to tell true stories of friendships once thought impossible. The Israelis and Palestinians featured in forbidden peace come from various backgrounds but they all agree the only way for lasting peace in the middle east comes not from a political or economical solution, but takes something far greater.
